Hello everyone, here’s something I tried out on the Residents last night, with welcoming results!
2 – 4 Haddock fillets (to feed 4, but adjust for the amount of diners)
1 x fresh lemon
Pinch of salt
1 x packet Marlboro Lights
Salt the fillets, sprinkle with fresh lemon juice & Basil, and hang in a smoking cabinet. Set fire to the cigarette box and place it on the tray. Leave until the cigarettes have burned away & serve the fish with broccoli and a little white sauce.
If (like me) you cook for a substantial amount of diners you can adjust the number of cigarettes you use, according to taste. BE SURE to remove the plastic cover from the pack before use to avoid tainting the fish with harmful toxins.
